We should start a Wordie fan site on wirdee where we tell meta-jokes about the meta-conversations that we meta-have on Wordie.

Or, we could use it as a testbed to test out new Wordie features that aren't quite ready for prime time.

That explains it! I remember a while back when somebody (reesetee, I think) noticed that the text on the home page said Wirdee, and assumed it was some April Fools joke or something. Shortly thereafter it seemed to correct itself, and we never did get closure... ;-)

Edit: I just looked up the word page for Wirdee and it seems I was wise to things even back then!

Little known fact: Wordie was almost called 'Wirdee.'

Oh, these are so swell. I wish we could use them in regular conversation that isn't about birds.

"Hey Bill, how was the party last night?"
"Oh, it was totally ferruginous. We all got roseate and ended up photocopying our fulvouses. How was dinner with the guys?"
"Dude, it was neotropic. We hooked up with these chicks afterwards? One of them was cerulean, and the other was kinda palmated. I ended up with the plumbeous."
