Fair enough: we don't get much practice identifying cavaliers these days :-( <br />dontcry - Sheesh! Mollusque knew how <a href="/words/relaxed">relaxed</a> she is, but what about the rest of you? What on earth is the Porch for other than relaxing? Okay, it's for horking too, but ... <br />frogapplause - Yarb alone matched <a href="/words/stripper">stripper</a> with someone who writes comic strips; how did he manage that?! <br />gangerh - 6 wordies were on the money with <a href="/words/cred-herring">cred-herring</a>. Ah, but the gang-gang paid it all back, with interest! <br />John - A few months ago John commented that <a href="/words/clinchpoop">clinchpoop</a> was his new favourite word, a relationship noted by 5 Wordies. Besides, John really is a clinchpoop. <br />oroboros - Only the gangerh missile found the target here, <a href="/words/irreverent">irreverent</a>. Oro, better crank up the irreverence even higher! <br />palooka - Our <a href="/words/quixotic">quixotic</a> friend was unmasked by frogapplause and gangerh (again). I thought this was a tough one, not least because the word had been listed 245 times before the competition even started. <br />plethora - 3 wordies - MiaLuthien, whichbe and you-know-who - picked her as <a href="/words/psycasthenic">psycasthenic</a>. No-one is listing pyscasthenic, plethora. Why don't you? <br />Prolagus - Our very own Sardinian <a href="/words/sigh">sigh</a> was picked by sionnach, reesetee and ... gangerh *sigh* <br />pterodactyl - <a href="/words/hunky-dory">hunky-dory</a> was matched with various Wordies but only once, correctly with pterodactyl. You'll never guess who got that :-( <br />rolig - Slapshot by reesetee grabs rolig as <a href="/words/thoughtful">thoughtful</a>. Dang it, this should have been one of the easier ones. What more could rolig do around this site to come across as <a href="/words/thoughtful">thoughtful</a>? <br />seanahan - The <a href="/words/inexorable">inexorable</a> one was familiar to 'old-guard' Wordies oroboros, chained_bear and sionnach. <br />sionnach - 4 Wordies regrettably acceded to his delusions of being <a href="/words/pluripotent">pluripotent</a>. Mind you, 13 others didn't :-> Whahahaha! <br />skipvia - The [groovin'] dude was rightly identified 4 times. The picture of the jeans should have made this one a walkover! <br />whichbe - Nobody identified whichbe as <a href="/words/esemplastic">esemplastic</a>. I too have no idea what it means. <br />yarb - 6 people matched yarb with <a href="/words/yarb">yarb</a>, which is less amazing than the fact 11 entrants couldn't. Messed with your head, didn't it?! <br />red herrings - I've just moved into a new apartment and the only decoration I have so far is a fluffy red smiley <a href="/words/sunflower">sunflower</a>. For no great reason <a href="/words/zoetrope">zoetrope</a> popped into my head, a favourite word from the days when I studied History of Cinema. There's lots of scat-talk on Wordie so I thought <a href="/words/bladder">bladder</a> might lead the hounds astray. <a href="/words/Goodbye">Goodbye</a> and <a href="/words/chainsaw">chainsaw</a> were just sillinesses.
