I agree with you heartily about hemispherectomy. Glad to see you chose the verbal form lobotomize, too; it sounds aptly creepy.

You're right, palooka--the ear is another good anatomy list subject! Hadn't thought of that.

All good suggestions Valse. Hemispherectomy is a beautiful word! Lobotomy makes me nervous - my friends & family think it would be perfect for me.

Definitely a new favorite. =)

You'd be remiss to leave out lobotomy, methinks. That might just be personal preference. In a similar vein, House, M.D. taught us about hemispherectomy. dendrites, [Wernicke's area] and [Broca's area] are a couple more possibilities.

Thanks reseetee! Your "The Eyes Have It" list is excellent! Another interesting anatomical area is the ear - lots of fun terminology. The more we explore words, the more we find, eh?
