If that's true, whichbe - that dating is dead -, it's a shame. I was never a serial dater (datist?) but the uncertainty, intrigue, and curiosity of a first date make it a splendid experience whatever happens.

If only to break all the rules, Prolagus. But, really, "dating" is...dated. If I'm having a "first date" it's long after I've gotten to know someone and have a quality connection with them.

I enjoy adding to this list, because when it comes to dating, I'm a real Neanderthal. Or real basic, I don't know. Reminds me of the joke about how women can impress men on a date:

I've presumed that this hilarious list is meant mostly as a generalized comedy list and not meant to be taken literally, since there's plenty of words that could or should be used, in fact. And, of course, there's context and quotha.

I had a memorable first date once where someone explained to me about some kind of nifty frog that eats this huge thing (without chewing, of course) and then has to, like, shift around to make it fit in its stomach. This description came complete with a physical acting-out to demonstrate.
