It's possibly an offshoot of the Indian Mujahideen, or maybe, as Mira just suggested here, some kind of a merger here with Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, which is also known as the Army of the Pure, founded in 1989, an armed wing of the Pakistan-based religious organization.
