Severnaya Zemlya

In terms of volume and area, the largest feature is the Greenland Ice Sheet, which covers about four times the combined area of the glaciers and ice caps of Alaska, the Canadian Arctic, Iceland, Svalbard, Franz Josef Land, Novaya Zemlya, Severnaya Zemlya, and northern Scandinavia (Table 6.7).
