I keep at least one reel with 20-lb test Suffix Performance Braid, spooled over a backing of old mono to save money, for situations requiring braid, and put Suffix Elite mono of varying lb. tests, usually between 8 - 14, on all of my other reels.

The way i see it the performance difference between the Suffix and cheaper mono more than makes up for the slight price difference and in the end paying for the best ends up saving money and fish.
