Sadly the next book of hers I wanted to read - Trickster's Queen - has a different cover artist for some reason and so I am not sure what to do.

I liked the crow character in Tamora Pierce's Trickster's Choice, but I hadn't realized he might owe so much to de Lint's crow girls, who are admittedly one of the most appealing things about this book....

Tamora Pierce's Trickster's Choice is a young adult fantasy book that pulls no punches about masters buying slaves for sex being a part of the society it's set in.
