What comfort can the Vortices of Descartes give to a Man who has Whirlwinds in his Bowels?

Makes me think of a theory on Vile Vortices, the theory suggests Vile Vortices are like Bermuda triangles which all share the same latitude, this latitude lines up with Portland, Figi, Nigeria (tunisia) & possibly the island.
