  • Designating a compound related to an ammono-salt in a manner analogous to the relation of a basic salt to the salt from which it is derived: that is, an ammono-salt in which a part of the acid groups have been replaced by NH2 as OH replaces acid groups in the formation of ordinary basic salts.
