  • A group of old-world dentirostral oscine passerine birds of uncertain position, sometimes referred to the Laniidæ or shrikes, oftener to the Muscicapidæ or flycatchers, or raised to the rank of a family, Campophagidæ; the caterpillar-catchers. Campophaga is the leading genus. Also written Campephagina, Campephaginæ.
