1. In Sundevall's system of classification, a cohort of oscine passerine birds with long extensile tongue, whence they are also called Tubilingues. It is composed of five families of the birds commonly known as sun-birds and honey-suckers, belonging to the genera Drepanis, Meliphaga, Nectarinia, Cinnyris, and their allies.
