"There are already laws in place that should be used to deal with anyone involved in threats, harassment, or reprisals." yes, they're called hate crime laws. and they won't be enforced should any Prop 8 dissentor commit a crime, violent or otherwise, against a Prop 8 supporter. as was mentioned in the article, you also don't wait until the crime happens to assess whether the threat is viable.
