  • I think in time we can use this word/thread to discuss what group lists we want and how to create and sign up and so on.

For now we can we use it for indulgent speculation about what group lists might be :-)))

  • How about Wordie "gardens", lists of words chosen to describe the Wordie experience. This wouldn't be a group list, but a set of similar lists it would be fun to compare.

  • The first iteration of group lists, which I hope to release tomorrow, is pretty simple -- it lets you assign multiple contributors to a list. While I was mucking about on the list template, I also took the opportunity to clean up how an individual's lists are listed. They're now on a separate page, much as one's comments are, rather than in a giant pig pile on all of their lists. While the pig pile is kind of a nice indication of how many lists a person has made, I find it almost impossible to read, and think that it gets in the way of the list itself, so hopefully giving them their own page will help clean things up. I'm open to suggestions, though, and to tweaking the upcoming changes after they're released.

Mollusque's gardens suggests a good future addition: the ability to create lists that are open to anyone. That might be fun, eh?

  • Appreciate your cleaning up the pig pile--it was making my eyes cross. :-)

  • John, it's great to have the ability to alphabetize lists, but could we have the cloud view too? At least with my own lists, I know pretty much where they sit in the cloud, and it's easier to find them there than in the longer list which doesn't fit on one screen.

Having the same set of options: order added, alpha, and cloud for words on a list, lists, and tags would be great. I'd love to see a sort by length (number of letters) option too.

A couple of bugs. On the pages for words, the lists of lists on which the word is listed has disappeared.

On the page for the list of lists for a person, the number of comments has disappeared.
