1. n. A colorless compound, HN:C(NH₂) NHCOOC₂H₅, formed from guanidin and ethyl chlorcarbonate. It crystallizes with ½H₂0 in trimetric laminæ, melting at 100° C. Also called guanolene and ethyl guanadinecarboxylate.
