- n. The condition of being hyperelastic
- n. The extent to which something is hyperelastic
Sorry, no etymologies found.
Starting from an arbitrary strain energy density function for hyperelasticity, I was able to reach the total-form nonlinear equation in the weak form for finite element.
That book discusses the problems with rate form constitutive equations for elasticity and ultimately proposes that total form hyperelasticity is the best way to go.
My thanks to Xu, Xiaoteng, and Biswajit for helping me out with the tangent modulus in hyperelasticity.
