  • A tribe of plants of the natural order Cruciferæ, typified by the genus Isatis, characterized by having the silique short, indehiscent, inarticulate, often crustaceous, winged, and 1-celled and 1-seeded or rarely 2-seeded. Also written Isatidæ.
