1. n. A colorless liquid, C₉H₁₀NCH₃, prepared by the action of methyl iodide on tetrahydroquinoline; methyltetra-hydroquinoline. It boils at 242–244° C. under 720 millimeters pressure, and is used in medicine as a febrifuge.
