I think, I am using the custom authentication, because in my class, after checking the username / password then i will save the one token (loginstatus) in the session and then on each page I check again the token (loginstatus), something like this:

Well its simple - since the status is toggled according to user status e.g: logged in or logged out just check its status and add attributes to the loginstatus control. dont forget to put initial images on the aspx if (Page.
