• A group of extinct mammals of North America, resembling Insectivora, characterized by Cope as a suborder of Bunotheria, having the incisors not growing from persistent pulps, the molars tubercular and never sectorial, the third trochanter apparently elevated, and the astragalus not grooved above. Ten Eocene genera are referred to this group.
