  • In some systems, a division of the mammalian order Chiroptera, including the frugivorous bats, or flying-foxes, as distinguished from all the rest of the order, then collectively called Nycterides. The two divisions correspond respectively to the terms Frugivora and Animalivora, which are more frequently used.
