  • "Rocky" the flying squirrel, sidekick to Bullwinkle J. Moose.

  • Wait..wasn't Bullwinkle the sidekick to Rocky?

And was Natasha Boris Badenov's sidekick, or was it the other way around?

How about Sherman--he was clearly Mr. Peabody's sidekick. (I want a Wayback machine...)

    December 14, 2007

  • Nah...you think Bullwinkle was Rocky's sidekick? And I think I added Natasha to the list. *checking*

But Sherman! How could I have forgotten? (I want a Wayback Machine too.)

    December 14, 2007

  • Well, Rocky was the more intelligent of the two, and the show was called "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show."

Still one of the best shows I have ever seen. I loved Fractured Fairytales.

EDIT: I think I was partially wrong about the name of the show(s). According to this Wikipedia article "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show" was actually a compilation of "Rocky and His Friends" and "The Bullwinkle Show."

  • That's true; Rocky was definitely the more intelligent. But in my opinion, that's the case with many fictional sidekicks. Somehow, they get the brains and the other one gets stardom. Go figure.

Hey skipvia, did you know that the Wayback Machine was actually spelled WABAC? It was supposed to be a takeoff of ENIAC, UNIVAC, and the other early computers. Learn something new every day....

  • That's a new one on me, reesetee. Very cool.
