As Eamon Gilmore said on Frontline last night, on the odd occasion when Pat Kenny (no relation) would let him get a word in, after the last council elections FG could come close to takeing over the seanad win loose or draw in the next election. still hypotetical. on paper it can do stuff but just that its never been in the position where the opposition had that house and the government the other.
