  • noun In ore-dressing, a revolving table whose surface is that of a flat cone and has about 1⅛ inches of inclination for each foot of radial distance, the inclination varying, however, with the material to be treated. On this revolving cone the slime is delivered, and the gentle motion and the incline separate the elements in the flowing water. Also called buddle and vanner.
