In Australia (at least) may refer to the native, Commelina cyania, or a declared weed, Tradescantia albiflora.

Ha, VM, thanks for the laugh. I tried to edit a typo in my comment probably as you were making yours. Somehow I got the dread page-not-found and therefore deleted my comment.
