I haven't bought any wiiware downloadable games because I do not trust Nintendo with purely digital ownership thanks to them revoking most of my loyalty points which I had spent years building up, complete faith in them.

Quick and slightly related question, if I was to buy a Wii as I sold my other one during the "drought", would I be able to redownload all my wiiware/virtual console games, or were they tied to the system's code?
