  • In Huxley's classification (1874), a series of deuterostomatous metazoans whose body-cavity is an enterocœle, as the echinoderms, chætognaths, enteropneustans, mollusks, brachiopods, and probably polyzoans: opposed to Schizocœla and Epicœla.
