"Qualcomm’s leading edge is currently 45nm and it has announced that it will skip a 3x-nm node and develop for 28nm. The company expects to tape-out for the 28nm node in mid-2010, which should mean first silicon (i.e. production samples) late in the third quarter of the calendar year if all goes well."
