- A family of parasitic entoproctous Polyzoa, of solitary habit and long-stalked form, having numerous tentacles, a cement-gland in the stalk, and no partition between the stalk and the cell. Reproduction is by gemmation, the buds separating from the parent and no colonies being formed.
