  • A family of Discomedusæ which consists of rhizostomatous forms having 4 separated subgenital pits, dorsal as well as ventral sucking-frills on the 8 oral arms, 8 rhopalia, and 8–16 or more branched and anastomosing radial canals with a circular canal. It includes Pilema, Phyllorhiza, Stomolophus, and several other genera.
