Does anyone know of one word which means "rejecting the old"?
By this phrase is meant rejecting all -- or a specific thing -- that comes before the present.
Thus by "rejecting the old" one rejects history, or a previous style, customs or habits .
Regarding subject matter "rejecting the old" is not targeting senescence or gerontology , nor "modernism", nor the subject of "ageism".
The phrase (word-?-) "rejecting the old" is both more generous & specific.
But is there one word for "rejecting the old"?

I think your answer will come from someone who knows history and can speak to sects & schools of philosophy that rejected all things old and started fresh.
A bohemian, anarchist , Jacobin , Hippy 8) (but these may not be quite what you are looking for. ).
