When I finally went to check on her I found her asleep in the hallway, in what undoubtedly must have seemed like heaven to her, surrounded as she was by her favourite thing in the whole world, shoes ( 'shoobies!'), having eschewed her deliciously comfy (I wanted to fall asleep in it after we finished making it) bed for the shoe-littered, crumb-ridden (I've not been big on cleaning of late) hard floor of the hallway.
