I visited a little managerie in Nashville, Indiana in the late 1980's that was maintained by some religious snake handlers. For 50 cents you could come in and see all kinds of poisonous serpents that I assumed were used in the church services. I went back to show a friend and it was closed. Peering through the windows I noticed that the "watchdog" was a 5-foot monitor lizard running around loose in the place!
