  • Seems to be quite a distinct unit to me. Yesterday I heard a person exclaim, 'Who the fuck's business is it?!' with the functional effect of 'It's no-one else's business!' I suppose you could say that who the fuck is the subject with the fuck acting as some kind of qualifier ... I say some kind because it's difficult to pin down a specific meaning.

    Similar goings on in What the fuck are you doing?, etc.
