  • But lots of people don't get married at all, whether they're parents or not. Maybe it's just the assumption that marriage and parenthood invariably go together (or should go together in all cases) that bugs me.

    On the other hand, 'prewed' could be an abbreviation for "stewed prunes," couldn't it? I like it that way.
