  • Interesting, mollusque, and ta for that.

    I've just found a study about early settlers of the Delaware Valley which says that more settlers than from any other British region came from the North Midlands of England. At the time this area included Yorkshire.

    Also I presume that New York was named by people with connections with York, capital of Yorkshire at the time.
