Wow. I grew up being considered somehow "less than white" because I'm of Italian descent. But I think Glenn Beck—I could call him (it?) a number of things, but it all boils down to "one of the signs of the downfall of our civilization"—wouldn't consider me white, either. Too immigrant-y. Glenn Beck rules - not that I agree with everything he puts out there. He understands that most Americans are complacent and siply do not understand the ramifications of what is going on.
at least he isn't all stuck up Obama's ass like most of the media. It is disgusting how Pro-Obama the press is. (Example: Obama swats fly during an interview. Obama swatting fly is on every news show and local newscast in the country. Obama swatting fly is being made fun of by Colbert...IT WAS A FLY and it was killed by OBAMA - I am shocked that someone didn't pick up the fly remains and sell them on ebay.

And he is the president of everyone - not just the president of black America. I am all for change that helps our nation and all of its citizens. It seems like most of what Obama is trying to sell will disproportionately benefit certain groups, while overburdening others whom receive little or no benefit with financing the whole agenda

The group that has most benefitted from his policies has certainly been the bankers he bailed out. So if you're talking about rich white people, I agree with you entirely.

I'm pretty suspicious of this. The neocons tried this on in Australia in the late 1990's and it was very nasty stuff. White culture was code for Euro-stock monarchist Christian troglodyte and unless you were one of those they were baying for your blood. Expel them, harrass them, cut their benefits, cringe at their cultures, marginalise them, deny their rights, zero tolerance them, us and them, everything that is not us is them. We had some very dark years.

Oh bring it on—I love this line of attack. The longer the idiotocracy running the Republican party persists in this retrograde nonsense, the longer they'll stumble around in the wilderness losing elections. Morality aside, the demographics are just against them. America is a diverse place and getting more so, and tactics that intentionally alienate everyone but the ever-shrinking rump Republican base guarantee failure.
They'll figure this out eventually and try to start appealing to a wider audience. But if they get thrashed for a few more election cycles before that happens, I wouldn't mind. Palin in 2112!
