• noun A tineid moth, Pronuba yuccasella, which, by means of curiously modified mouth-parts, is enabled to pollenize and thus fertilize the ovary of plants of the genus Yucca, causing a development of the seed-pod, in which its larva feeds. Also called yucca-pollenizer.
