Interesting that Antony Flew's conversion was due to his study of Aristotelian-Thomistic (A-T) arguments.

ID isn't (nor can it ever be) the same thing as A-T philosophy, for the simple reason that science isn't and can never be the same thing as philosophy.

Meanwhile the general A-T response (Edward Feser comes to mind here, along with I think Francis Beckwith) has been, "We're in agreement on much, but no, ID is not what we believe in."

I don't think Denton is an advocate of A-T philosophy, but it strikes me that his outlook – at least as described above – is more in line with traditional A-T philosophy than other ID proponents appear to be.
