With the exception of cipollino verde, which was not found in similar large quantities, the usual stone types, such as pavonazetto, Afyon şeker, Afyon gri and kaplan postu, were all well represented in the caldaria.

All of the statues seem to have been carved in the beautiful and exquisite and expensive white Docimian marble (Afyon "seker" or "bal").

The yellowish patina of the white marble seems to point to Dokimeion (Iscehisar near Afyon, some 350 km to the north).

From a stone quarry in Eskisehir, black breccia blocks were cut and sent to a factory in Afyon to be shaped mechanically in a turning machine for the remaining two columns (C7 and C10) on either side of the central niche.

Together with the kaplan postu marble (Afyon, Iscehisar) of the two columns next to them, we will fix the missing pieces to the existing fragments and then everything will be carved mechanically into the right rounded shape, diminishing towards the top, at a marble factory near Afyon.
