(Amtrack from Baltimore to Montreal a long time ago, was fantastic; Portland to Seattle, twice in the last few years, beautiful, though the waiting line to board was ... a trainwreck; CalTrain, fantastic, the handful of times I've ridden it), and the worst train experiences I've had have been in the U.S., too.

Why can't we allow the gun owners to surrender their respective weapon/s (Loaded or Not) to the Amtrack Crew members while in transit and claimed the gun upon getting off.
