  • A great diversity of plants dominate and characterize the dry forests of Jalisco including: Astronium graveolens, Bernoullia flammea, Sideroxylon cartilagineum, Bursera arborea, Calophyllum brasiliense, Dendropanax arboreus, Ficus cotinifolia and Swietenia humilis, forming a middle forest layer with trees of 15-20 m.
