Amsterdam Photography "Still/Life: Contemporary Dutch Photography" celebrates the 10th anniversary of the gallery with works by artists the museum has helped gain recognition, including Melanie Bonajo, Kim Boske, Blommers & Schumm and Yvonne Lacet.

The series of potatoes—assembled in various positions on reflective surfaces with one- or two-tone backgrounds—are typical of the work of their creators, Amsterdam-based photographers Anuschka Blommers and Niels Schumm, whose portfolio bursts with humorous images of record players, close-ups of burning cigarettes and portraits of human subjects with wide eyes and awkward stances.

Bosboom one naturally associates with church interiors, wonderfully well done; Blommers, Artz, and Bles likewise paint interiors, the first two choosing their subjects by preference from the houses of the working classes, while Bles confines himself to the dwellings of the wealthy.
