The main problem I had with Casshern is it's too long; there just isn't enough plot to keep it going for the 2+ hours running time.

The 2004 movie, Casshern, billed as a 'live-action anime' movie, was actually based on the 1970's era anime Shinzo Nigen Casshern.

I suppose Casshern will try to find his identity since it seems he has no memory of who he is and what the heck he did to make the other robots target him.
