Codeweavers also has a VERY odd support system where users have to 'pledge' (financial) support by buying copies of Crossover to get unsupported applications possibly added at some unspecified future date.

If Codeweavers can achieve this magic trick, there will be a good chance that WINE can be ported back to Windows, bringing DirectX 10 compatibility to older versions of Windows such as XP and 2000 - an irony that won't be lost on Linux users.
