Petey, I don’t think MY’s “insane” comment meant that he was taking the AP’s side in the overall dispute, just that he thought it was insane that Fairey is now the one suing the AP rather than the other way around (perhaps he didn’t read the whole article and thought that Fairey was suing the AP for copyright infringement rather than that Fairey was preemptively suing to have his work declared fair use).
