Our guess is the role McKidd was offered was that of Death Eater Fenrir Greyback.

Only problem with that theory is Greyback was played by Dave Legeno starting in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," not just in the final two parts of "Deathly Hallows."

J. K.Rowling wrote a Masterpiece, in the Harry Potter series you find werewolves (Lupin, Greyback), vampires (Sanguini), ghosts (Moaning Myrtle), etc. and she respected the well known characteristics of each and single one of the monsters she wrote about, yet she wrote something so different and so original that is already a legend and is gonna live through the ages.
