Jove's guide parent Liz lives very close by and so came to visit too with her husband Lee.

One of Jove's favourite things is to cuddle up on the sofa with his belly out; it was lovely for him to do it with his dad for a change!

The kids got to see lots of differant animals and birds (Jove's new words for the day were "Yama" for Llama and "Peacock"!) and to ride on all sorts of things including a roundabout ....

The next day was Jove's actual birthday and for once I was really pleased when he woke at 5. 00am for a feed as it meant I got the first birthday cuddle all to myself!

It's time to pop our curly-haired moppet into bed so I'd better go but I'll leave you with our passport mugshots now that we've finally got round to sorting out Jove's ready for our holiday in July.

Today was Jove's last day at nursery and it's Jaya's last day tomorrow.
