I rented the first Tomie movie a couple years ago and it made no impression on me (I think it got knocked out by Marebito and Ju-On).

If this film had come out a few years ago, I probably would have loved it, but it borrowed too heavily from other movies like The Sixth Sense, The Eye, Ju-On, etc.
