I don't see what VLC can do that KM can't. (maybe the convert files for iPod thing but since it probably doesn't sync I see no need to switch) Plus KMplayer looks a whole hellofa lot better

Anyway, your VOB files are still vob files, it's just that KMplayer made an entry in the Registry that marks them as "KMP-DVD files" that way.
